- Welcome to the Betfred British Masters
2017 Race to Dubai winner and 2018 Ryder Cup star Tommy Fleetwood takes the Betfred British Masters to Hillside, in Southport, from May 09-12.
Fleetwood succeeds Justin Rose in the role of tournament host and this year’s event sees a change in date, and hopefully weather, as players will go head to head in May, instead of October.
Fleetwood had a meteoric rise to the top of the game but it came as no surprise, to those who watched him early in his career, when he won the 2017 Race to Dubai. A year later, he would be challenging once again for the tile of Europe’s number one golfer, however his good friend and Ryder Cup partner Francesco Molinari would take home the spoils. Fleetwood has never won the British Masters but a win this year would certainly be special in his home county.
